George Balderose, Balmoral School Director and Pipe Major for Balmoral Pipes & Drums, and Sean Regan, the band’s Pipe-Sergeant and Instructor are pleased to announce that Balmoral Pipes & Drums have won the 2018 Ohio Valley Branch Champion Supreme Grade V trophy at the Ligonier Highland Games. The band is also the recipient of an award from the Allegheny Labor Council for Best Pipe Band in the Labor Day Parade.
Balmoral Pipes & Drums will be playing at the University of Pittsburgh’s Holiday Open House at the Commons Room of the Cathedral of Learning on Sunday, December 2, as well as at First Night Pittsburgh.
The band would like to invite all area pipers and drummers to consider joining Balmoral Pipes & Drums.
