Free to all pipers! This year, during the 13th Annual Balmoral Classic weekend, there will be a Piobaireachd workshop with Balmoral Classic judge, Pipe-Master Ian Duncan. Duncan is a widely respected senior adjudicator at major piping competitions in Scotland. He regularly judges at both Oban and Inverness, and this year for the main event, the Gold Clasp at the Northern Meeting, Inverness. He learned Piobaireachd during the ‘60’s and 70’s from the piobaireachd masters at Balmoral: Bob Brown and Bob Nicol, as well as their confident, Dr. MacKay of Laggan.
The workshop will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm, on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, at the Wyndham Hotel, 100 Lytton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
