Balmoral’s Summer Students give testimonials to the fact that our 2022 Piping & Drumming Camp was a rousing success! This year, the Balmoral School returned to its roots with a camp for all ages and ability levels, held in beautiful Edinboro, PA. On offer were both in-person sessions and live viewing for online attendees!

In small group classes, 1-on-1 lessons, and camp-wide seminars, students received instruction on the Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish Snare Drum. Our Summer 2022 guest piping instructors – Roddy MacLeod, Terry Tully and Andrew Carlisle — have all won major awards and have incomparable records in the teaching and promotion of solo piping and pipe band music around the world. They joined Balmoral staff piping instructors Richmond Johnston and Sean Patrick Regan, and Balmoral Pipes and Drums instructor of drumming, Ian MacLeod.
